A Scary Nesquik Halloween Story
by Kate
It was the darkest night Cora had ever seen. She was supposed to be at Kara's house for 11:44pm Halloween Eve, together they were going to head to a midnight Halloween party at Creepy Club. She walked briskly amongst the rustling leaves, stumbling a few times on her Nesquik Strawberry Milkshake Ready To Drink costume. She had been working on her costume for 3 weeks, deciding to break her scary costume tradition, she ultimately decided on a Nesquik Strawberry MilkShake RTD costume because it was her favorite drink in the world. Finally, she arrived at Kara's house, she knocked on the front door, but their was no answer. She tried Kara's cell, it went straight to her inbox. "This is weird," thought Cora, "She's never been been late for anything in her life. She wouldn't leave with out me, would she!"
After siting for 15 minutes on Kara's front stairs, a bell chimed midnight. Cora decided to walk down town to club, by herself, maybe Kara was already their. She cut across the front lawn and suddenly slipped on a white substance. "Ouch!" cried Cora. What in the world was this stuff. She tried to get up again, and slipped, noticing that the substance had formed some kind of trail. As she crawled, following the trail, she found a blue wig. "Oh my god, Kara!", thought Cora, "She was going to wear this." Something was defiantly wrong. Cora started to run down the street following the trail. It led straight to the Calcified Cemetery. She heard a girl scream, and saw a flashing light. She slipped through the cemetery gate, and walked hunched over, trying to cover herself behind grave stones. As she made her way to the back of the cemetery she couldn't help but notice unusual phrasing on a lot of the gravestones, "Here lies Larry Silk, He died because he did not drink enough milk," "We mourn Susan Bellarose, she did not do lactose, and so she died, we do not lie", "Timmy Little, his bones got so brittle, we cried when he died." Cora figured all these deaths had to do with lactose intolerance, she knew if you did not drink enough milk you wouldn't be so healthy, because milk delivers lots of nutrients to our bodies, making our bones and teeth strong. Up ahead she saw it, the Lactose Intolerance monster that had attached Kara. She ran at it full force, and knocked it over with her giant Ready To Drink Nesquik costume. The Lactose Intolerant monster screeched, as Cora saw strawberry colored sparks fly out of the cap of her costume. Their was another loud flash, and the monster vanished. Cora ran over to Kara. "Kara, Kara, wake up!" Kara opened her eyes, "What happened?" asked Kara, "Last thing I remember I was siting on my front stairs waiting for you!" "The Lactose Intolerance monster, he's real, he took you here to the Calcified Cemetery." "Oh my god, I really have to start drinking more milk!" Kara realized.
